Service Provider Training

We offer Service Provider Training for workplaces that may come into contact with individuals at risk or have experienced Commercial Sexual Exploitation.

Our trainings were created to help service providers:

  • Learn to identify the risk factors associated with exploitation.

  • Spot the warning signs that someone may be experiencing exploitation.

  • Respond to disclosures with a survivor-centered and trauma-informed approach.

  • Understand the root causes of commercial sexual exploitation in their communities.

Each module was informed by survivors of trafficking and exploitation.

  • 6 modules:

    • The Sex Trade & CSEC;

    • Consent, Choice, & Risk of Exploitation;

    • Luring, Grooming, Exploitation;

    • Working with Survivors;

    • Working with Parents & Guardians;

    • Systemic Change.

    Interactivity – small & large group discussions/activities built into the material. Allowing attendees to reflect and begin the process of applying this knowledge to their own work.

    This is a great option for organizations looking to receive an interactive PD.

  • Broader Overview of topics — Does not include working with parents and guardians or systemic change.

    Lecture-style — Discussion and activities removed except for Q&A period at the end.

    This is a great option for organizations who cannot have their staff away from duties for two days.
