PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: The Peer Outreach Support Services & Education (POSSE) Project is a cutting edge, youth driven, leadership development, peer based, non-judgemental, harm reduction, human rights/truth and reconciliation project. POSSE is a low barrier non-gated service that provides training, support services and street level outreach for youth ages 15-30 living in Windsor/West Hants, Sipekne’katik, and Sackville.

PROGRAM SUPPORTS: Distribution of safer substance use kits; Fentanyl test kits; Naloxone; Emergency food; Mental health information; Sexual health and consent information; Safe sex supplies; Violence and sexualized violence prevention, intervention and information; Peer Support; Street outreach; Youth drop-in; Service navigation and referrals; Crisis intervention and accompaniment; Continuing education; Employment support; Advocacy; Meeting accompaniment; Harm reduction.
