The Sexual Health Centre for Cumberland Country champions informed, responsible attitudes regarding sexual health through the delivery of programs and services to meet community needs. They ensure the community is supported in all aspects of sexual and reproductive health, including healthy relationships and violence prevention, accessible education, safer spaces and inclusion, and one-on-one guidance and support. Their goal: to reduce stigma associated with sexual health in Cumberland County, and enhance safety and wellness.

SERVICES OFFERED:

• FREE Supplies: safer sex supplies/barrier protection, pregnancy self testing kits, HIV self-testing kits, gender affirming gear. 

• Individual Support and Guidance: Assistance with service navigation and referrals for PAP testing, STBBI testing, mammogram screening, gender affirming care, and other sexual/reproductive health concerns; options counselling; advocacy; individual education and resource procurement. 

• Resources: Brochures, pamphlets, and Lending Library on a wide range of topics including STBBIs, puberty, menopause, consent, Allyship, online safety, sexual abuse, gender and sexuality, and much more. 

• School-based presentations: Comprehensive education for all ages, available to public schools across Cumberland County.
