PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Youth Outreach supports youth who are: experiencing individual, community and or system barriers placing them at risk, youth exiting care, young parents, Mi’kmaq/Aboriginal youth living off reserve, African Nova Scotian youth, Newcomer youth and 2SLGBTQIA+ youth.

PROGRAM SUPPORTS: Mobile outreach (Lunenburg & Queens Counties); Drop-in intake access; Emergency response & support (based on self-identified needs including phones, wifi, access to showers, laundry and food); Individualized, group, peer and mentoring supports; Programs & workshops (skill development, financial literacy, cultural & personal identity, health, well-being & relationships); Basic needs supports; Youth-family relationship & or conflict resolution support; Community collaborations & connections.

PARTICIPANT INCLUSION: All Gender Inclusive; 16-24; Experiencing homelessness or risk of homelessness or homelessness prevention
